The Singapore Boating Industry Association (SBIA) is the lead association for Singapore’s recreational boating industry. With boating growing in popularity in not only Singapore, but the South East Asian region, it is important to have a collective voice. This comes in a time when boat populations are on the rise with many more people enjoying this healthy outdoor activity.

Right from its formation, SBIA has engaged with public agencies to promote industry interests as well as being an advocate for policies that affect boating.
These efforts include the introduction of an Advanced Powered Pleasure Craft Driving licence (PPCDL) which will help streamline the yacht charter sector.
